1. What the service is

llms.txt Studio ("the Service") generates llms.txt files for a domain you specify, validates existing files against the llms.txt format, and — on the Monitor plan — checks a monitored file weekly for presence, validity, change, and drift against your live site. Generation is deterministic extraction of your public pages; no AI model writes the file.

2. What the service is not

The Service does not promise, and you should not expect, any change in search rankings, traffic, AI citations, or how any AI system treats your site. Whether a given AI system reads llms.txt is that system's choice. The optional crawler canary shows fetches of a link and the user-agent string presented; user-agent strings can be spoofed and the absence of a fetch proves nothing. Grades are our assessment of format and link health, not a measure of business outcomes. Nothing here is legal, SEO, or marketing advice.

3. Acceptable use

Only run the generator against domains you own, operate, or have permission to analyse. The free tools fetch a site's public pages at a modest rate with a self-identifying user-agent and respect robots.txt; you are responsible for having the right to request that.
Monitor requires domain verification (DNS TXT or meta tag). Do not attempt to monitor domains you do not control.
No attempts to overwhelm, probe, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or verification.
No resale of generated output as a competing service. You may use, edit, and publish the files generated for your own domains freely.

4. Plans and payment

Free: limited generate and validate runs per day per IP (limits shown in the product and subject to change). No account needed. Results live at unguessable URLs; anyone with a link can view that result.
Monitor: a recurring subscription per monitored domain (currently $12/month or $99/year), billed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Quantity equals the number of domains you can monitor. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
Cancellation: any time via the customer portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Monitoring data is kept 90 days after cancellation in case you resubscribe, then deleted.
Refunds: if a paid check fails to run for reasons on our side and we cannot fix it within 7 days of your report, we refund the affected period. Dissatisfaction with a grade or with how an AI system treats your site is not a service failure.
Failed payments: a 7-day grace period, after which monitoring pauses until payment succeeds.

5. Accounts

Required for Monitor; optional otherwise. You may sign up with an email and password or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; associated data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

6. Your content and ours

Files generated from your domain are yours. Our software, methodology, rule definitions, and reports' format are ours. You grant us the limited right to fetch and store copies of your public pages and files solely to operate the Service for you.

7. Availability and changes

Provided "as is" and "as available". We may change the generator's heuristics, rules, grade thresholds, limits, and features; material changes are noted in the Help page. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service or of the third-party sites and services it depends on.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost traffic, rankings, citations, or revenue, or decisions made in reliance on a grade or report. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

England and Wales; exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
